Garstang & District Agricultural and Horticultural Society AGM

The Garstang & District Agricultural and Horticultural Society held its Annual General Meeting last night, and it was an evening to celebrate! With the best turnout in recent history, members gathered to reflect on the past year and look ahead to the future.

The night featured a generous buffet, ensuring that no one left hungry—an essential ingredient for any great meeting! But the real highlight was the election of new leadership to guide the society forward.

New Appointments
We are delighted to welcome Mr Andrew Richardson as our newly elected President. His passion and dedication to the society make him an excellent choice for the role.

Joining the board as newly elected directors are Carol Helm, Andrew Holden, and Pam Miller, all of whom bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm to the team.

Additionally, Alan Pearson has been appointed President Elect, ready to take the reins in the future. The leadership team remains strong with Helen Smith continuing as Chair and Jayne Gibson as Vice Chair.

With such a fantastic turnout and a renewed sense of enthusiasm, the future looks bright for the Garstang & District Agricultural and Horticultural Society. A huge thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making the evening a great success!

Here’s to another fantastic year ahead!
